Making the world less ambiguous one book at a time
When my two-year-old began waking up at night, confused about how she was suddenly in her bedroom when just moments ago she’d been racing across rainbow skies, I knew I needed a simple way to help her understand what dreams are.
As a lifelong book lover, I believe in the power of stories to help us learn and grow. I searched far and wide for a gentle, fantasy-free book—no witches and monsters—but found nothing.
Then one day, a librarian shared with me Toni Morrison’s words: “If there's a book that you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it.”
That very night, I sat down and began to write my first book, and it was about dreams.
